Private | Half Day City Tour and nearby archaeological sites
This charming half-day tour of Cusco offers us a journey through the history of this city. With our guide we will be
able to appreciate how the Andean and Spanish cultures, as well as the past and the present, coexist in harmony in
the Imperial City. We will visit the Koricancha Temple, which during the Inca empire was a center of worship of the
Sun and on which the Santo Domingo convent was later built as part of the evangelization process. Its baroque
style façade built on solid Inca walls perfectly summarizes the syncretism of cultures in the city of Cusco. We
couldn’t take a tour of the city without passing through the Main Square and the cathedral the most important
temple in the entire city. It was built by the Spanish on top of the palace of the Inca Huiracoha. Its interior houses a
wonderful collection of colonial art composed of goldsmith pieces and representative canvases of the Cusco
School of Art. To appreciate the greatness of the Incas, we will visit nearby archaeological sites such as the
monumental fortress of Sacsayhuaman, which with its enormous carved stone walls constitutes one of the best
examples of Inca military architecture; Kenko, a ceremonial place where the Sun, Moon and stars were worshiped;
and Puca Pucara, which during the empire functioned as a rest and lodging place for the Inca troops.Meals included: Breakfast

After approximately an hour and a half of walking, we will arrive at Vinicunca, at 5,020 m a.s.l. Arriving at the lookout, our reward is a stunning view of the colorful hillside. 9. Machu Picchu and Inca Trail operations specifications
Machu Picchu is one of the most sought-after destinations, and, as a result, tickets, circuits, and schedules sell out
quickly. Therefore, we have specific policies to guarantee an experience tailored to our travelers’ expectations.
Machu Picchu tickets are limited per day, and purchase requests are immediate. To ensure a ticket on a specific
date and time, we suggest to make reservations following advance notice:
Individuals (1 to 9 passengers): equal to or more than 60 days before the visit.
Machu Picchu tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
If entry to Machu Picchu is through the Inca Trail, the ticket only includes a visit to the Inca citadel (llaqta).
If the reservation is not made with the informed advance notice, we will purchase the available tickets at the time,
with no guarantee of obtaining the requested date or time.
For all train services to and/or from Machu Picchu, passengers may only bring one hand luggage (backpack, bag, or
briefcase) weighing less than 11 pounds or 5 kilograms. Any other type of luggage that does not meet the
measures cannot be transported. We offer baggage services if required; you can coordinate it during the itinerary
design process with us.
10. Flight policy
Airfare rates and schedules are subject to change without prior notice by the issuing airlines. Any changes (dates,
names, routes, etc.) involve penalties and administrative charges according to their policies.
11. Sustainability
At Dream Flyer Holidays, we promote traveling with a purpose: contributing to community development and
