Itinerary

• Day-1Arrival

  We reach Almaty, the biggest city of Kazakhstan. Check in to your Hotel. Later in the day we explore Medeo and Symbulak – two famous destinations in Kazakhstan, located near Almaty, in the picturesque Trans-Ili Alatau mountains.
  Medeo is the world’s highest mountain sports complex, situated at an altitude of 1,691 meters (5,548 feet) above sea level. It’s best known for its ice skating rink.We visit The Medeo Dam, built to protect Almaty from mudflows, offers a beautiful view of the surrounding area and can be reached by climbing a long staircase.

  A scenic ride from Medeo takes you to Shymbulak, offering breathtaking views of the mountains. Shymbulak is a popular ski resort, located further up the mountains from Medeo at an altitude of 2,200 to 3,200 meters.

  Return to Almaty and rest.

• Day-2Kolsay Lakes, Charyn Canyon

  After breakfast we set with for a very picturesque tour. We today experience.

  Kolsay Lakes: Known as the “Pearls of the Northern Tien Shan,” these lakes are a chain of three alpine lakes located in southeastern Kazakhstan, near Almaty. Surrounded by lush forests and mountains, the lakes are a favorite spot for hiking, camping, and photography. The serene, turquoise waters reflect the surrounding peaks, creating a breathtaking view.

  Charyn Canyon: Often called the “Grand Canyon of Kazakhstan,” Charyn Canyon is located in the Charyn National Park, approximately 200 kilometers from Almaty. This stunning natural wonder features unique rock formations and vibrant colors, carved by the Charyn River over millions of years. The “Valley of Castles” is a particularly famous section of the canyon, with towering rock walls resembling castle structures.

  Black Canyon: A lesser-known but equally stunning natural formation in Kazakhstan, Black Canyon is located along the Charyn River downstream from Charyn Canyon. It is famous for its dramatic, dark cliffs and rugged beauty, offering adventurous travelers an off-the-beaten-path experience.

• Day-3Ascension Cathedral,War Memorial,Green Bazaar (Zelyony Bazaar,Rakhat Chocolate Factory

  After breakfast we set off for some fascinating places. We visit

  Ascension Cathedral:
  Also known as Zenkov Cathedral, this Russian Orthodox cathedral is one of the most iconic landmarks in Almaty. Built entirely of wood in 1907 without using nails, it showcases a unique architectural style. It is located in Panfilov Park, a central and beautiful spot in the city.

  War Memorial:
  Located near the Ascension Cathedral in Panfilov Park, this memorial commemorates the soldiers who fought and died during World War II. It includes the Eternal Flame and statues of soldiers symbolizing Kazakhstan’s contributions to the war effort.

  Green Bazaar (Zelyony Bazaar):
  A vibrant market in Almaty where locals and tourists shop for fresh produce, spices, dried fruits, meat, and other goods. It’s a great place to experience the local culture and try traditional Kazakh foods like kurt and baursak.

  Rakhat Chocolate Factory
  Rakhat JSC, now known as LOTTE Rakhat, is one of Kazakhstan’s largest and oldest confectionery manufacturers, with a history spanning over 80 years. For visitors in Almaty, the Rakhat Chocolate Factory is a popular destination. Located on Zenkov Street, near the Green Bazaar, the factory offers guided tours where guests can learn about the chocolate-making process and sample a variety of treats.

  Return back to hotel and relax.

• Day-4Ala Arasan, Kok Tobe

  After breakfast we visit 2 fascinating places in Kazakhstan

  Ala Arasan:

  A famous mountain gorge located near Almaty, in the Ile-Alatau National Park.
  Known for its natural hot springs, breathtaking views, and lush alpine landscapes.
  Popular for hiking and relaxation.
  Kok Tobe:

  A hill located on the outskirts of Almaty, offering panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains.
  A significant tourist destination with a park, a funicular (cable car), and entertainment facilities.
  Known for the iconic “The Beatles” monument and the tall TV tower.

  Return to Hotel and relax.

  Overnight at Almaty.

• Day-5RETURN

  Today after breakfast relax and morning at free. Then we checkout from the hotel and proceed towards a very scenic mountain resort. Nestled amidst the picturesque landscapes of Besqaynar, Kazakhstan, Oi-Qaragai Mountain Resort is a hidden gem that offers a serene retreat for nature lovers. Enjoy some time there and we finally drop you to Airport. The trip ends here. Return to your country with fond memories of Kazakhstan.
